What's on The Front Yard tonight?

A man and some other people were drinking in a woman's front yard watching everyone getting arrested in the drug roundup. When a woman, who has a protective order against the man, suddenly got mad. So the man cut her tires. The man was arrested for public intoxication and malicious injury to property.

Who needs TV with this kinda entertainment? We just sit out in our front yards, have us a few drinks, watch our drug dealing neighbors get arrested, watch some tires get cut up and then watch our drunk neighbor get arrested. It just don't get no better than this people!

Indictment Unsealed

And the winner is....

Six Face Federal Drug Charges!

A grand jury indicted six men in McCurtain County. Alleging they conspired to possess controlled and dangerous substances with intent to distribute and with distribution of such substances. The grand jury returned a sealed indictment on February 18, but the indictment was unsealed this week after the men were taken into custody. Those indicted include: 2 men from Idabel, 1 man from Hugo, 1 man from Wright City, 1 man from Valliant and 1 Pharmacist from Austin, Texas.

(How the hell did that Texan get in there?)

Round Up Party!

A fun time was had by all at the recent drug roundup held here in McCurtain County. Over 40 officers from OBN, DEA and other agencies handed out 46 arrest warrants and 14 search warrants as party favors to some high priority drug targets. Some of those in attendance at the roundup were McCurtain County sheriff's officers, Choctaw County sheriff's officers, Idabel, Broken Bow, Wright City and Hugo police departments, the District 17 Drug Task Force, U.S. Marshal's service, Oklahoma National Guard counter drug office and Civil Air Patrol. Three helicopters and an airplane provided entertainment.
It was reported one party target got so excited, the McCurtain County sheriff's office and ATF officers had to join forces to chase him down. Sheriff Tadlock was able to calm the man and took him back to the roundup.

It was a hell of a party folks! We give it 5 stars!

BAAW: My kids inspire me. They've always known who they are, where they came from and where they want to go. They could have taken the easy way out many times, but they refused to take it. They've worked very hard to get where they are today. They make me proud.

We figured since we had eight boobies over here we'd help our friend Georgie out.

We're sorry if we didn't include all the comments made. But damn people.. sitting on our 40 yr old butts at the computer all day making hearts for our blogs...you know, being single and all, we got no man to give our hearts to so we put them on our blogs, and if we do have a man, we're so damn happy we got to tell the world, so we put hearts on our blog and then if we got kids and puppies and we can cook, oh hell watch out!.....wait, where was we going with this....oh yes, and sittin' on our middle aged mommy butts and votin' for each other so we can get sucky (is that spelled right? sucky..suckey? oh who cares) so we can get sucky purple awards by giving stuff away to family and friends and then.. we got to give whiny bloggers some boobie....well hell people! That's hard work..so sorry if we missed some of ya'll.

We also find it funny..that with all the drug sellers, child molesters, spousal abuse, child abuse, murders, meth and mayhem going on in SE Oklahoma.. UR disappointed in our grammar!

Maybe we ment to do that.
Maybe we do it to give scared whiny bloggers with no life something to live for.

Drug Bust!

No not us!
We joke around a lot about weed on here.
Cause seriously, weed is a joke compared to what's out there now.
Plus, way back in the 70's, McCurtain County was the pot capital of Oklahoma.
We recently had a big drug bust here.
We even had a firefighter among the 36 "alleged" drug sellers.
Because of the big drug bust our local radio station, KKBI, read this letter on the air this morning, and we'd like to pass it on.

The following was published in the local newspaper in Bryant, AR
To Whom It May Concern:
The other day, someone at a store in our town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county, and he asked me a rhetorical question, "Why didn't we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up?"
I replied that I had a drug problem when I was young: I was drug to church on Sunday morning. I was drug to church for weddings and funerals. I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather. I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults. I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher, or if I didn't put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me.
I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap if I uttered a profanity. I was drug outside to pull weeds in mom's garden and flower beds and cockle burs out of dad's fields. I was drug to the homes of family, friends, and neighbors to help out some poor soul who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline, or chop some firewood, and if my mother had ever known that I took a single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the woodshed. Those "drugs" are still in my veins and they affect my behavior in everything I do, say, or think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack, or heroin; and, if today's children had this kind of drug problem, America would be a better place.

Duck Duck Slough

We have this place here in McCurtain County called Red Slough, it's where all the cool birds go and hang out. If you love bird watching (which one of us does) and your in this area, go check it out.

More than a dozen varieties of ducks were noted at Red Slough for January.
Last weeks count lists six duck species totaling 1,859 and another 13 ducks from six other species.

Duck totals include:
1,418 Gadwall, 898 Mallard, 553 Northern Shoveler, 590 Ring-neck Duck,
602 Green-Winged Teal, 30 Northern Pintail and 7 American Wigeon.

A golden eagle was seen harassing waterfowl and a Sora feeding on open water. Some more unusual birds include a Black Night Heron, Great Egret, Merlin and Moorhen.
Other species include:
1,942 American Coot, 380 Blackbird and 51 Meadowlark.

When my daughter was 3 months old, I buckled her into the car seat, but forgot to seat-belt the seat to the car. At a stop-light, I heard a "thump". She was face down in the foot well of the back seat, still strapped in. I panicked and pulled over. When I picked her up, she wasn't even crying. She just looked a little confused.

When my daughter was about 1 or so, I was changing her diaper. It was a Sunday. I swear she had a worm. I pulled one out of her bottom when I was wiping her. It was like 4 inches long. I called the doctor. We all got wormed. Her doctor wanted to see her on Monday and bring the worm with us. I walked in, (my MIL had already taken her and I met them from work)they both started laughing at me...My MIL had forgotten to tell me that they ate Chinese and Mandy LOVES SPROUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a bean sprout!!!HAHAHAHAHA.....We all got wormed...for nothing.
